José Luís Sampedro is an author of reference: lucid, honest and daring.

In this brief conference he invites us to reflect on the art of living, on our ability to learn about the human and humanism. He concludes that “humanity is to be done”, “we do not know the art of living”, “we have a lot of technique but little wisdom,” and ultimately, “we have not learnt to live”. Wise reflections of a consistent and good man that has given us great literature and wisdom.
