THE FISHERMAN AND HIS WISH
Dear friends,
This week’s thought is a brief one. It’s an old Sufi tale and it goes like this:
“A genie got out of his lamp and said to a fisherman,‘Ask for three wishes and I’ll grant you them. What’s your first wish?’
The fisherman thought for a while and said, ‘I’d like you to make me intelligent enough to choose the other two wishes perfectly.’
‘Granted,’ said the genie. ‘Now, what are your other two wishes?’
The fisherman thought again briefly and answered, ‘Thank you. I have no more wishes.”
