RIGHT NOW

RIGHT NOW

The lucid reflection of the day, by André Gide:

“If you really want to be happy, do not be tempted to compare this moment with other moments in the past, which you did not enjoy because you compared them with the times to come, too.”

He who hopes that the best is yet to come, might miss what is good now.

He who is anchored in the past, might forget the present.

He who expects great happiness, tends to ignore now’s little joys.

And I also wonder: how many people have lived a life being continually distressed by situations that never occurred?

Have a fully conscious now,

Álex
