LOVERS OF LIFE

Who said nature is not a being subject? Who said it has no soul? That it does not feel, it does not live or does not laugh or does not cry…
William Wordsworth moves us with his poetic prose -it invites us to pray, to contemplate, to be aware. He writes [free and unofficial translation]:
‘And I’ve noticed the sublime sensation of something far more deeply intertwined, whose dwelling is the light of the setting sun and the ocean and the living air round and blue sky and in the mind of man, a motion and a spirit that drives all living things, all objects of all thought, and that goes through everything. That is the reason why it is still loving the meadows and forests, the mountains and all that beholds from this green Earth, of all the mighty world of eye and ear.’
As once said Emilio Lledó wisely: ‘We must love life, and not just ours’. Love life…
Lovers of life, as Wordsworth, Thoreau, Emerson, Whitman, and so many others, yesterday and today, who recognize in this Mother Earth its beauty and sustenance, inspiration and generosity.
Kisses, hugs.
